ABOUT US - 

Hi!! 

We are Jen and Liz, identical twins from AZ, who started making handmade makeup in 2010. Dollipop™ was born when we saw that there just weren't a lot of bright natural choices as far as eyeshadow went. We also noticed at that time that geeks were sorely unrepresented in the makeup world, and being super nerdy girls ourselves, we decided we would make our own fandom-themed shadows. 2010 saw us working on perfecting our formulas, it took a little over a year of hard work and many many failures to find the right combination of ingredients before we launched Dollipop™. We wanted to be sure it was right first, so in 2011 we started with just a handful of shades. We now have well over 100 and are proud of each and every one of them! 

We've since grown our business and many of our friends have joined us to help make our awesome shadows! You may have met some of them at the local Phoenix Fan Fusion (formerly Phoenix Comicon). We've got the lovely miss Anya who was literally our first fan! She's modeled for us many times and worked many many booths with us. Shauna, Kellie, and Cheryl are our longterm besties who not only rock booths with us in person, but also help us imagine new shades, name them, pot them, and wear them too! We would not be who we are without them. The Dollipop™ men are not to be forgotten either! Mark, Nathan, Kenny, and Ivan have all worked comicon booths with us and all know how to label, pot, and use our products! Maybe you've met one of them at a con. We hope to be back slinging shadows in person soon! XOXO!

OUR PRODUCTS -

Our Mineral shadows are actually good for your skin! These are made from natural micas, oxides, minerals, and pigments that are all approved for use around the eyes, on the body, and many are okay for the mouth too! We label everything so you know what they are safe for and if they are vegan or not. Speaking of our vegan choices, our non-vegan items are produced in a completely separate area and with different tools than our vegan products. We do not cross-contaminate any of those items as we know how important this is to our vegan customers, so feel safe that when you are buying a vegan shadow, it is truly vegan! 

We do not use any garbage synthetic fillers like talc (YUCK!) or mineral oil in our shadows, so you are getting more than most pressed eyeshadows offer. Our jars last most of our customers years as they are highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way! Unlike traditional eyeshadows, ours are so safe you could sleep in them! Of course you should always wash your face at the end of the day but our shadows allow your skin to breathe and contain good-for-your-skin ingredients. 

Dollipop™ truly cares about our customers' skin so we produce everything in small batches with high quality ingredients. We formulate our recipes ourselves and nothing is imported or private label unlike many "indie" brands currently out there. We make all of our shadows ourselves from ingredients found right here in the USA, from scratch! We have heard some horror stories about other small companies using cheap soap dyes (YIKES!) or cheap, unsafe ingredients in their shadows. Our promise to you is that we will never cheap out to try to make a buck or add unsafe ingredients just because they are super bright (like synthetic dyes), we absolutely adore our customers and love makeup too so we will always maintain our integrity!!!
