Use Your Loose Eyeshadows -
Using loose eyeshadows is quite easy, it just takes a little practice. You'll want to tap a little of the shadow out into the lid of the jar, apply with apply with a clean fluffy brush or a clean finger. You want to press the pigments into your lid, think of it like loading the shadow onto your eyelid and then blend it out. A sweeping motion may be used if you only want a wash of color, otherwise you'll want to pack it on and blend it out.
Because these are loose shadows, fallout under your eyes and onto your cheeks is to be expected. To help prevent this from happening, be sure to tap your brush out before applying to your lid to remove excess product. Adding a good amount of loose translucent powder under your eyes prior to applying can really help too. Once you've finished applying your eyeshadows, simply use a large clean fluffy brush to sweep the loose powder and fallout off of your face. If anything remains, a makeup wipe can remove it. Glitter may a little bit more difficult to remove; a piece of face tape can lift it off of places where you don't want it.
COSMETIC GLITTERS -
Our cosmetic glitters will need something to help adhere them to your skin. A good quality glitter glue made for eyes is perfect or you can even use eye drops! The gel eye drops you can purchase at any drugstore are actually a great way to apply cosmetic glitter because they stay somewhat moist keeping the glitter in place. A makeup setting spray can also help keep the glitter in place. While safe for use around the eyes, cosmetic glitter is not meant for use in the eye, so if some falls into your eyes, immediately flush your eyes and refrain from rubbing at all. Seek care if irritation continues and discontinue use if you develop any reaction to any of our products.
